The Five Counties Teaching School Hubs Alliance is a centre of excellence for teacher and leadership training and development, delivering the Department for Education’s Golden Thread of continuous professional development:

- National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
Our alliance is part of a network of 87 hubs nationally that covers the five counties of Bristol, Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset. The Designated lead schools are Mangotsfield C of E Primary School, part of the Leaf Trust and Bristol Metropolitan Academy, part of the Cabot Learning Federation, working in partnership with Local Authorities, Multi-Academy Trusts and Diocese across our hub area.
Our mission is to work collaboratively with partners across our region, tapping into our combined extensive experience and successful track record, to support teachers and leaders by providing career-long development through specific pathways.
Our aim is to address deprivation and disadvantage across our region by driving school improvement through effective partnerships with every school in the five counties.
